Ktpass /out HTTP-JWEBSRV.Keytab /pass secret /mapuser JWEBSRV /princ HTTP/JWEBSRV @MYDOMAIN.LOCAL /crypto RC4-HMAC-NT /ptype KRB5_NT_SRV_HST Everything seems ok; I can still see my account in the windows 2003 AD console but the account is somehow invalid: the http computer (I tried under Win 2k or WinXP ) cannot be accepted in the domain anymore. I am trying to get Single Sign On to work. Basically, in R2 it took us quite some time to get things to work properly (mainly due to poor documentation on BO's part). Now I am trying to achieve the same thing with 3.0 by going through the steps we documented last time. Unfortunately, both our own documentation as well as BO's refers to several commands involving Code: ktpass, but alas this file is nowhere to be found in the javasdk bin directory, or entire C drive for that matter. Has anyone else been successful at getting SSO to work? If so, what should I be doing here instead of what is in the documentation? ![]() _________________ A post a day keeps the doctor away. Hi, ktpass.exe/setspn.exe are parts of the Windows Server 2003/2000 supporttools. You'll find this tools on your Windows Server Installation disk. However - i'm also trying to setup SSO on BOXIR3 - currently without success. Has anyone a working Java(Tomcat)/Vintela/SSO environment? Many thanks in advance, Regards Sven wahey Forum Associate Joined: 31 May 2007 Posts: 971 Location: Leiden, The Netherlands Posted: Fri Jun 06, 2008 3:34 am Post subject: Re: Where did ktpass(.exe) go? I didn't know ktpass is part of the W2003 Server Support Tools. When the Chameleon bootloader appears, and when you see the option to do so, press F8 to go to the Chameleon Boot Icon menu, then type: -v cpus=1 maxmem=2048. Boot from the iATKOS S3 Version 2 Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Install DVD 2. Install iatkos s3 v2 from usb flash drive. I suppose you have to install these separately? The thing is that in R2 ktpass.exe could be found in the javasdk bin directory. Square meal nitrome hacked full version software. _________________ A post a day keeps the doctor away. Yes, setup the SSO is a big deal and I suggest you to open a case on BO tech support regarding this question. We have done it and have been helped by phone and webex session by very efficient guy of the techsupport and it works now! _________________ Bernard TIMBAL DUCLAUX de MARTIN BusinessObjects Platform Certified Consultant (Co)author of 2 books about SAP BusinessObjects and Administration seiferts Forum Member Joined: 16 Apr 2008 Posts: 13 Posted: Fri Jun 06, 2008 4:08 am Post subject: Re: Where did ktpass(.exe) go? Hi all, @wahey yes, you have to install the supporttools seperately. @bernhard you're right - i've missed to post this important information about the supporttools (run on DC by admin).
